The Industrial Automation Industry in the region was hard hit when the global economy
took a turn in 2008/2009 but since the third quarter of 2009, orders start to pour
in, the Automation Industry in Penang starts to see a sign of recovery. The Intrenasionale
Automation Expo (AEX 2010), the largest and most established industrial automation
tradeshow outside of Kuala Lumpur will be organized in conjunction with the Intrenasionale
Industrial Expo to provide a conducive and cost-effective platform for components,
equipment and parts supplier from the Industrial Automation industry to meet major
system integrators and end-users from the region.
Organized from March 25-27, 2010 at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA)
the AEX 2010 will serve the large community of system integrators and end-users
among the multi-national companies as a sourcing platform. This tradeshow will be
even more relevant in 2010 as system integrators and end-users will continue their
search for better, more advanced and more cost-effective components and technology
to be more competitive in this uncertain market. This focused event will aim to
attract only the quality related buyers, thus creating a favourable business environment
